Situated in the residential area of the village of Garajau, approximately 6 miles to the east of Funchal, this attractive 3 star
Hotel is set amid some lovely gardens.
Approximately one kilometre from the hotel is Ponta do Garajau with a fine miradouro, this is a wonderful spot to watch the sun go
down and enjoy great views west towards the bay of Funchal. The Garajau coastline is a conservation area and was one of Europe's first underwater
nature reserves, providing sanctuary for whales, dolphins and seals.
The 282 bedrooms are situated in 6 separate blocks of 3 floors, which are connected to the main building. They are all decorated in a
modern style with private bathroom, direct dial telephone, balcony or terrace.
In the vicinity of the hotel there are a number of shops, mini markets, cafes, bars and restaurants serving local and international
specialities.
Car hire is recommended but not essential as taxis and a regular bus service is available.
